Founded in 2006, Ginger’s Pet Rescue has made it their mission to rescue homeless animals from Death Row. The company’s founder, Ginger Luke, was a former restaurant owner who graciously took in a dachshund, brought it back to good health and found it a loving home. That experience transformed her life.
Now the rescue she initiated has helped save the lives of over 10,000 dogs. Their work is heavily dependent on the efforts of a dedicated fostering network, who provide the dogs with a temporary shelter during the transition to forever-home status.
Being a 501(c)(3) organization, Ginger’s is completely dependent upon donations and adoption fees to survive. Make sure to visit them at the fair, and say hello to some lovely animals in need. Who knows, you may find a new best friend.
